Description
Winter has already set in and during the past night a snowstorm has covered the world in white. A Nanuqsaurus hoglundi wanders in the last sunrays of the year seaching for animals who didn't make it. It's better to spare your energy in this time of the year...
Nanuqsaurus is the newly published pygmy Tyrannosaurid that lived 70 mya on the island Laramidia in Canada. He is a very small for a Tyrannosaurid: only 7 metres in length and 2 metres tall at the hip, giving him the mass of a bear. This gave him the name Nanuq-(Inuit for polar bear) saurus. The only remains we have of him are a few teeth and parts of the skull.
Stupid scanner hates orange it seems...

So there really was a perfect miniature of T. rex.
This one should be covered in feathers if it lived on cold environment.
