Retrosaurs

I've never been a fan of old dinosaur books: full of inaccuracies and ugly drawings. I mean, tripod theropods? Sauropods in lakes? Triceratops with sprowled legs? Tail dragging? Anatomy so wrong it's painful to watch? No, thank you.
It's only since this last year I've actually started to like it for the artistic side of view thanks to the 'Love in the Time of Chasmosaurs' blog: look at works of Charles Knight and Burian and other artists that based their works on it, just beautiful. (and of course the funny derposaurs here and there)

Anyway,  since that realisation I've wanted to draw something in that style so here's a retro Allosaurus.
