Day 1: Draw your favorit theropod
Allosaurus fragilis, one of my favorit theropods.

Allosaurus lived during the Late-Jurassic period, 150 million years ago.
There're many species of Allosaurus, but A. fragilis is one of the most common and an accepted kind of Allosaurs (there're some skelletons found that are believed to be A. fragilis or other accepted species). Allosaurs fragilis was one of the biggest species, with a length of 9 metres.

What i like about these theropods is ofcourse their look: that crest on their head is just gorgeous. But what makes them really awesome is the way how they killed their prey. We know that their jaws weren't that powerfull, they had a biteforce that's equal to that of a lion, not so much for an animal of this size. However their skull could handle huge forces and they had really strong neckmuscles. Because of this we now know they used their skull as an axe, hitting a prey on his neck or back with their upperjaw (mouth opened). Allosaurus also had an extra weapon: a big claw on his hand, making him able to grab his victims and slicing through their skin with his claws.

Prey of Allosaurus were Sauropods, Stegosaurs and Ornithissians (like Camptosaurus)
