Description

Art for a blogpost by :iconnashd1: I did a while ago.
Short explanation by Duane Nash for all clearity: "The post does not suggest that ankylosaurs or any other ornithischians (not ruling it out either) were amphibious like hippos merely that negative density may have occurred in some species that had thick skin & armor making them move like hippos in the water. Armadillos have also been reported to move like this underwater on occasion but they are obviously not amphibious."

There are quite some little critters hidden in here because I like to hide critters:

Ankylosaurus magniventris (Ankylosaurid)
Brachychampsa montana (Alligatoroid)
Habrosaurus dilatus (Sirenid salamander)
Scapherpeton tectum (Scapherpetontid salamander)
Potamornis skutchi (Hesperonithid)
Amia fragosa (Amiid fish)
Belonostomus longirostris (Aspidorhynchid fish)
Pleurobema cryptorhynchus (Unionid bivalve)
Campeloma sp. (Viviparid snail)
Crassostrea subtrigonalis (oyster)
Random water scorpion (Nepidae)

Also if you want to know some flora that I got from here because if it existed in Alberta it (or something close to it) will probably have lived in Hell Creek too, right?

Pistia corrugatus (floating water plant, Araceae)
Trapa sp. (Water chestnut)
Also some algae stuff.
